Plasticcycle awareness session in celebration of World Children’s Day

In celebration of World Children’s Day, Plasticcycle conducted an awareness session on 24th September 2025 in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of the University of Colombo, Department of Finance.

Students from Bandaranayake College, St. Joseph’s College, St. Peter’s College, Thurstan College, Viharamahadevi Balika Vidyalaya, Visakha Vidyalaya, and Wesley College participated in the session to learn about the harmful effects of plastic pollution on the environment.

The session also highlighted the importance of adopting the 4Rs - Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, encouraging young minds to take meaningful steps towards reducing plastic waste and creating a more sustainable future.
