Plasticcycle unveils “The Plastic Monster” at City of Dreams Sri Lanka

On 16th March 2026, Plasticcycle, together with Cinnamon Life – City of Dreams Sri Lanka, unveiled “The Plastic Monster”, a striking 15-foot installation created entirely from discarded plastic by artist Kamburawala Withanage Lak Sri Wajira.

The installation was unveiled at City of Dreams Sri Lanka by the Chairperson of the John Keells Group, Krishan Balendra, alongside senior leadership, marking a significant moment in raising awareness on plastic pollution.

“The Plastic Monster” serves as a powerful visual reminder of the growing impact of plastic waste on the environment, encouraging individuals to reflect on their consumption habits and adopt more sustainable practices.

The installation is currently on display along the City of Dreams Sri Lanka walking path, inviting the public to engage with the message and be part of the movement towards reducing plastic pollution.
